  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie works best)

  • 2 cups Nacho Cheese Doritos, lightly crushed

  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 1 cup salsa (mild, medium, or hot)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus more for topping)

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Fresh cilantro or green onions, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven – Set oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Make filling – In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salsa, cheese, and spices. Stir until well mixed.

  3. Layer casserole – Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread a layer of crushed Doritos on the bottom, add half the chicken mixture, then repeat.

  4. Top with cheese and chips – Sprinkle extra cheese and more crushed Doritos on top.

  5. Bake – Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.

  6. Serve hot – Garnish with cilantro or green onions if desired and serve immediately.
