This recipe is a minimalist take on classic brownies, made using pantry staples that blend perfectly to create a dense, chocolatey texture. You won’t need fancy tools or long prep time — just mix, bake, and enjoy. The best part? You can easily customize them with add-ins like nuts, chocolate chips, or even a sprinkle of sea salt for extra flavor.
1 cup Nutella (or any chocolate hazelnut spread)
2 large eggs
½ cup all-purpose flour
(Optional add-ins: ¼ cup chocolate chips, ¼ cup chopped walnuts, or a pinch of sea salt)
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, combine Nutella, eggs, and flour. Stir until the batter is smooth, glossy, and fully combined. If adding chocolate chips or nuts, fold them in gently.
Spread the brownie batter evenly into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Avoid overbaking to keep them fudgy.
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares. This helps them set and keeps the texture dense and chewy.
Serve plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with a scoop of ice cream for an extra treat.
